The PowerLearn BrainWorks Program

is a sophisticated training program that dissolves Chronic Brain Distress and activates neuro-physiological balance for children and adults of any age. It applies cutting-edge knowledge from world-wide research about the brain and neurophysiology.

The BrainWorks Program begins with an inventory. We identify chronic neural-sensory-motor stressors which contribute to attention problems and inhibit neuro-development. These stressors include:

  • Stuck survival reaction patterns—fear, anger, freeze, shut-down, worrying, etc.

  • Idling neuron zones—usually due to head impact and/or concussions

  • Stress patterns related to seeing, listening reading moving and learning

  • Brain-muscle reflex arc development—the foundation of movement, brain development, and cognitive skills

  • Stressors to biological self-regulation such as environmental toxins and substance reactions

  • Food and nutrition

  • Self-management (executive functions such as impulse control, decision-making, memory and time management)

Chronic stressors do not include causes of disease or conditions caused by genetic or biological defects. If such are suspected, appropriate referrals are made.

After identifying chronic stressors

in the initial inventory a unique plan is developed for each child or adult using a combination of the following approaches:

  • Personal Coaching — Support to embrace new insights and habits. Topics include: time management, organization, goal setting, use of essential oils, diet and nutrition changes, daily stress management, cultivating will power and more.

  • Referrals — If needed, to our network of other professionals, including a psychologist, medical doctor, optometrist and occupational therapist.

Other Issues Addressed Include

Aggression, antisocial behavior, anxiousness, balance, clumsiness, compulsiveness, left-right confusion, language delay and letter reversals, throwing, catching, riding a bicycle, forgetfulness, indecision, low motivation, moodiness, poor eating, over sensitivity to touch, smell, etc., persistent headaches, sleeping problems.
